Description
Nuptse (or Nubtse) lies just two kilometres southwest of Everest and two kilometres west of Lhotse. The name Nubtse means 'West Peak' in Tibetan. Its main (and highest) peak is Nubtse I, which has seen relatively few ascents versus its neighbouring summits.
