The Hahnen overlooks the local village of Engelberg, a major mountain resort in central Switzerland. It bears a very distinct shape and upper ridge, and despite its unique visual appeal, receives relatively little attention in the mountaineering community, possibly due to the rich supply of other popular peaks in the area.
