Description
Part of the larger Glockner group, the Grossglockner is the highest mountain in Austria and the highest mountain in the alps east of the Brenner Pass (north of Italy). Its signature pyramid-shape peak consists of two towers; the Grossglockner and the Kleinglockner (3,770m), separated by the Glocknerscharte col between them.
